This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner questioning the validity of the charge-sheet issued to the petitioner.
During pendency of the present writ petition, an application has been filed by the petitioner annexing order dated 10.06.2021 passed by the Disciplinary Authority, whereby, the Disciplinary Authority has decided to drop the charges.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the charges against the petitioner stands dropped and on account of the pendency of the said proceedings, the petitioner was not paid

the terminal benefits, the respondents may be directed to do the needful.
In view of the submissions made and the fact that the charges against the petitioner have been dropped, the writ petition has been rendered infructuous. The same is, therefore, dismissed as having become infructuous.
However, the respondents are directed to decide the terminal benefits of the petitioner and pay the same to him expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks.
