The petitioner by way of this writ petition has prayed as under:

“(i) Issue an appropriate writ order or direction in the nature thereof thereby the respondents may kindly be directed to include the name of petitioner in the seniority list of

Water Resources Department for further promotion as included the name of juniors than the petitioner.

(ii) Issue an appropriate writ order or direction in the nature thereof thereby the respondents may kindly be directed to promote the petitioner on the next higher post after inclusion his name in the seniority list of Water Resources Department as per his seniority.

(iii) Pass any other appropriate order which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit, just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case in favour of the petitioner.

(iv) Cost of the writ petition be also awarded in favour of the petitioner.”

Keeping in view the aforesaid prayer, the matter be taken up before the Rajasthan Civil Services Appellate Tribunal.

Granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the Tribunal, the writ petition is dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy.
