This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner aggrieved against inaction of the respondents in not deciding the representation made by the petitioner in relation to the adverse entries communicated to him for the years 2016-17 & 2017-18.

Submissions have been made that the adverse entries were communicated to the petitioner by communication dated 29.11.2019, the petitioner made his representation on 07.01.2020, whereafter he was informed that the representation shall be considered by the Minister concerned in terms of the

circular dated 17.09.2013 and that his representation has been forwarded to the concerned.

Pursuant thereto, the petitioner also made representation to the concerned Minister and also has been sending reminders for timely disposal of the representation against the adverse entries, however, the same has not been decided and the petitioner is facing adverse consequences as his case has not been considered for promotion on account of adverse entries.

In view of the submissions made, the writ petition filed by the petitioner is disposed of with the direction to the respondent No.1 to decide the pending representation of the petitioner against the adverse entries for the years 2016-17 & 2017-18 within a period of two weeks from the date a copy of this order is placed by the petitioner with the respondent No.1.
