The present Writ Petition has been filed with the prayer that the petitioner be sent back to the District Alwar wherein he was initially appointed on the post of Gram Sevak/Paden Secretary.
Counsel for the respondents has stated that vide notification dated 08.06.2016 (Annexure-4) an amendment has been brought in Rule 290 of Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Rules, 1996 and it has now been provided as under:-

Counsel for the petitioner agrees to the proposal that he may file a representation to the State Government in terms of the amended provision of Rule 290 and the same be decided by the competent authority within a period of two weeks from the date of filling of the representation.
Therefore, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of filling of the representation.
