In wake of onslaught of COVID-19, abundant caution is being taken while hearing the matters in Court. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for both the parties jointly submit that while maintaining the remand order, the appellate court may be directed to expeditiously decide the stay application.
On such a limited prayer, the present petitions are disposed of, while directing the appellate court to decide the stay application expeditiously, preferably within a period of 30 days from today, strictly in accordance with law. However, it is made

clear that for the next 30 days, the status quo, as it exists today, in respect of the land in question shall be maintained by the parties. The stay applications as well as all pending applications stand disposed of accordingly.
