The bail application has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in connection with FIR No.298/2017 registered at Police Station Kotwali, Alwar for the offence(s) under Sections 420, 406, 409 and 120-B IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a lady. He has nothing to do with the Aravali Agro-multi State Co-operative Society & A.G. Co-operation Producer Company Limited. Neither she is Director of the said companies nor she has any connection with these companies. Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that nothing is to be recovered from the petitioner. So, the petitioner be enlarged on anticipatory bail.

Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the bail application.

Allegation levelled against the petitioner is that petitioner and other persons had formed the Aravali Agro-multi State Co-

operative Society & A.G. Co-operation Producer Company Limited and they have taken lacs of rupees from several persons by giving assurance to them to pay high rate of interest on the deposits. The petitioner and other persons have taken Rs.5,64,000/- from complainant by promising to give high rate of interest. But at the time of maturity, they closed the offices and ran away. The petitioner and other persons have cheated several persons.

Looking to the gravity of offence, I am not inclined to grant the benefit of bail to the petitioner under Section 438 Cr.P.C.

Hence, the bail application stands dismissed.
