Learned counsel for the appellant submitted that in the present appeal, the appellant-Insurance Company has challenged the award dated 02.11.2015.
Learned counsel submitted that during pendency of the appeal, appellant-Insurance Company and claimants have entered into a compromise and as such the parties have agreed that instead of amount of compensation of Rs.11,05,584/-, claimants would be entitled for Rs.10,00,548/- along-with interest as per the amount mentioned in the compromise.
The terms of compromise have been reduced in writing and as such the learned counsel for the appellant submits that the present appeal does not require any adjudication on merits and the appeal may be disposed of, in terms of the compromise.
Accordingly the present miscellaneous appeal stands disposed of.
