The parties have settled the inatter through Lok Adalat as under:-
The MACT, Fast Track, Baiiswara by its judgment and award dated 07.01.2008 in MAC Case No.284/2006 awarded a sum of Rs.50,OOOi- alongwith interest @ 7.5% per annuin.
With the consent of the parties, the claimant/s would be entitled to. fi~i-ther 1unl.p sum compensatiosi of Rs.2,84,000/-. The enhsnced amount of compensation be paid within a period of two months. In case, the amount is not paid within a period of&% months, the Insurance C.olnpany would be liable tci malte payment of interest @ 6% per annuln till actual payment on the above alnclunt of compensation from the date of &is order.
'The enhanced amount of compensation be disbursed in terms of the award in the saving bank account of the claimant!^.
In view of the above, the appeal is disposed of.
