The matter is placed before the Lok'Adalat today.
The parties have settled the matter through Lok Adalat as under:-
The MACT, Bikaner by its judgment and award dated 14.8.2015 in MAC Case No.6912009 (1 17112014) awarded a sum of Rs.38,746/- alongwith interest @, 7.5 % per annum.
With the consent of the parties, the claimantls would be entitled to further lump sum compensation of Rs.60,000/-. The enhanced amount of compensation be paid within a period of two months. In case, the amount is not paid within a period of two months, the Insurance Company would be liable to make payment of interest @ 6% per annum till actual payment on the above amount of compensation from the date of this order.
The enhanced amount of compensation be disbursed in terms of the award in the saving bank account of the claimantls.
In view of the above, the appeal is disposed of.
Record, if summoned, be sent back to the Tribunal.
