Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

Learned counsel for the appellants submit that the appellants were on bail during trial. Appellants are ladies. They are behind the bars since 14.02.2020 and hearing of appeals may take long time.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case as well as the conviction and sentence awarded to the accused appellants, I deem it just and proper to suspend the sentence awarded to them during the pendency of the appeals.

Accordingly, both the applications for suspension of sentence are allowed and it is ordered that the sentence awarded to accused-appellants Smt. Priyanka Devi W/o Jintendra Biarwa @ Jitu and Smt. Banno Devi W/o Shri Munna in Sessions Case No.03/2018 (38/2016) shall remain suspended; provided each of them furnishes a personal bond of Rs. 50,000/and two sureties bond of Rs. 25,000/- each, to the satisfaction of the learned trial court to the effect that they shall appear before this Court on 04.01.2021 and, as and when called upon to do so.
