The petitioner by way of this writ petition has prayed for grant of regular pay scale including increments w.e.f 13.9.2014 i.e from the date of completion of probation period and also for setting aside the order dated 31.10.2017 by following provisions of Rules 24 and 26 of the Rajasthan Service Rules.

This court is of the firm view that the issue involved in the present matter is a purely service matter as defined under Section

2(f) of the Rajasthan Civil Service Appellate Tribunal, 1976 and therefore the same can be taken up for redressal of grievances before the Rajasthan Civil Service Appellate Tribunal which is actually functioning now.

In view of efficacious alternative remedy available under the Act of 1976, granting liberty to the petitioner to take up the matter before the Tribunal, the present writ petition is dismissed on the ground of availability of alternative remedy.
