In wake of onslaught of COVID-19, lawyers have been advised to refrain from coming to the Courts.
This application for anticipatory bail has been filed by the petitioner apprehending his arrest in connection with FIR No.2020-21/01 of Rajasthan Excise Department, District Bikaner for the offence punishable under Section 19/54 of the Rajasthan Excise Act, 1950.
At the outset, learned Public Prosecutor categorically submits that under the Rajasthan Excise Act, there is no provision for anticipatory bail for the offences punishable under the said Act.
In light of such categorical submission, the present anticipatory bail application is dismissed.
