Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant is in custody since 04.12.2014 and has already undergone most of the period of sentence out of five years.
Learned State counsel has opposed the application.
Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, it would be just and expedient to suspend the sentence of the applicant.
Accordingly, application is allowed. Sentence of the applicant shall remain suspended during the pendency of the appeal. Applicant be admitted to bail subject to the satisfaction of the Trial Court.
