The applicant-appellant Laxman Singh seeks temporary suspension of sentences on the ground that his father Shri Bheru Singh has passed away. It is stated that Shri Bheru Singh was also undergoing sentence with the applicant-appellant at the Central Jail, Bikaner.

Learned Public Prosecutor has placed the verification report accompanied with the death certificate of Shri Bheru Singh on record.

In view of the fact that the applicant-appellant is the only adult male member in the family who can perform last rites and social rituals pursuant to the death of his father, the instant application for temporary suspension of sentences is accepted. The sentences awarded to the applicant Laxman Singh S/o Sh.

Bherusingh vide judgment dated 11.07.2011 passed by learned Special Judge, SC/ST (Prevenetion of Atrocities) Cases, Pali in Sessions Case No.122/2000 is suspended for a period of ten days. The applicant-appellant shall be released on temporary bail for a period of ten days upon furnishing personal bond of Rs.1,00,000/with two sureties in the sum of Rs.50,000/- each to the satisfaction of Superintendent, Central Jail, Bikaner. Needless to say that after completion of the aforesaid period, the convict petitioner shall surrender before the concerned jail authorities.
