After hearing learned counsel for the parties and on perusal of various orders made by the Apex Court of the land, the undisputed factual matrix surfaced, is that the State-respondents could not treat the LOIs of the petitioners as lapsed in the backdrop of the order made by the Apex Court of the land dated 10th May, 2019, which reads thus:

“Issue notice on the special leave petitions, as also on the prayer for interim relief, returnable within six weeks.
In the meantime, the Letters of Intent (LOI) of the petitioners shall not be cancelled and the leases in respect of which LOI has been issued, shall not be put up for auction.”
Mr. R.P. Singh, learned Additional Advocate-General for the State-respondents undertakes to do the needful forthwith, however, reserving his right on the legal issues to be adjudicated by the Apex Court.
In view of the above, no further proceedings are required on the above noted writ application for the State-respondents has undertaken to proceed further in accordance with the order of the Supreme Court (supra).
Consequently, the writ application stands closed.
