Petitioners have filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India challenging the notification dated 15.11.2019 published in the Official Gazette on 16.11.2019.
Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that action of the respondents in creating new Gram Panchayat Kheda with its Headquarter at Kheda Tehsil Kishangarh Bas, District Alwar was illegal and in-fact, the headquarter of the newly created Gram Panchayat was liable to be fixed at village Nayagaon.
The State after considering the relevant material, has issued notification by creating new Gram Panchayat Kheda with its headquarter at Kheda Tehsil Kishangarh Bas, District Alwar. The State has acted within its jurisdiction while issuing the notification and we are of the considered opinion that no ground for interference by this court while exercising jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is made out.
Dismissed.
