The present writ petition has been filed for seeking direction to the State Transport Authority (STA) to dispose of the applications filed by the petitioner for grant of permit.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Rules 5.6 and 5.7 of the Rajasthan Motor Vehicle Rules, 1990 lay down the procedure for disposal of an applications instituted for grant of permit.
Learned counsel submitted that the applications have been filed by the petitioner on 17th August, 2019 but till date, the same have not been decided.

In view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondents to decide the pending applications of the petitioner in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible; preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
