The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order dt. 9^th February, 2019, issued by the Regional Director, NRC of National Council for Teacher Education.

Learned counsel for the respondents-Mr. Manish Kumar Sharma submitted that petitioner-Institution has already filed an appeal against the order dt. 9^th February, 2019 and the relief claimed in the present petition cannot be granted until appeal filed by the petitioner-Institution is decided.

Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitionerInstitution is entitled for one Unit B.Sc./B.Ed. integrated Course for the year 2019-2020 and the admissions in the said course are going to be made as counseling programme has been announced for giving admission to the aforesaid Course.

Counsel submitted that appeal has been filed before the Appellate Authority in the month of February, 2019, itself, however, the Appellate Authority has so far not decided the appeal filed by the petitioner-Institution.

Mr. Manish Kumar Sharma-counsel for the respondents submits that the appeal of the petitioner-Institution will be taken up as and when the next meeting of Appellate Authority takes place. Counsel submitted that the decision of the appeal will be ultimately binding upon the parties and accordingly request is made to dispose of the present writ petition.

This Court finds that the petitioner has already availed the remedy of filing appeal against the order dt. 9^th February, 2019 and the Appellate Authority is required to decide the appeal in expeditious manner.

This Court finds that considering the grievance of the petitioner, relating to allotment of seat, as the process has already begun, it is expected from the authorities that a meeting should be called up within a period of 15 days.

This Court disposes of the present writ petition by giving a direction to the Appellate Authority of NCT to take up the matter/appeal of the petitioner-Institution in its next meeting and the decision should be taken in accordance with law.
