The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed on behalf of the petitioners whereby it is prayed that necessary direction be issued to the respondents No.2 to 4 to protect the petitioners as they apprehend danger to their life and liberty at the hands of those who are against the marriage.

The newly married couple is present in person. They have been identified by their counsel Mr. Rajeev Sharma, Advocate.

It is stated by Anju Ramesh Jaldhari, petitioner No.1, who is present in person, that she is twenty one years old. It is also submitted by her that she had performed marriage with petitioner No.2 Amit Kumar Sharma according to her own free-will and accord and is living happily with him as a wife.

Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel for the parties and going through the contents of the present petition, this Court is of the view that nobody can be permitted to take law in his own hands merely because marriage is not acceptable.

In the result, the present petition stands disposed of, by issuing direction to the concerned Station House Officer to ensure necessary observance that no harm is caused to the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of those, who are opposed to the marriage.

It is made clear that this order has been passed without determining the age and validity of the marriage of petitioners on the ground that those, who are opposed to the marriage, cannot cause harm to anybody.
