Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking regular bail in F.I.R. No.147/1997 registered at Police Station Bhatta Bajaj Nagar, Jaipur (Raj.) for offence under Section 420 Indian Penal Code, 1860.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner had jumped bail on 11.02.2005. Now, the petitioner is in custody since 22.01.2019.
Learned state counsel has submitted that the petitioner is involved in other criminal cases also.
Keeping in view the fact that the petitioner is involved in other criminal cases and the fact that he had jumped bail for about fourteen years, no ground for grant of bail to him is made out.
Dismissed.
