The appellant assails the order dated 26.09.2017 feeling dissatisfied with the interim order passed by the Court of injunction directing parties to maintain staus-quo.

Learned counsel submits that the Court ought to have granted the restrain order from making any correction in the land records.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the respondents have nothing to do with the land records and if any third party has initiated any action for change of land records, the respondents cannot be bound down by the same. Moreover, no other person to the party to the suit except the respondents, and therefore, direction as prayed for by the

appellant restraining some other persons, could not have been passed in the present suit.

Learned counsel appearing for the appellant submits that once the status-quo has been granted by the court below, the revenue records relating to the land ought not have been changed or disturbed.

In the opinion of this Court, change in land records are made in terms of the Tenancy Act and Land Revenue Act for which appellant is free to take up appropriate proceedings under the said Acts before an appropriate forum, granting liberty to the appellant as above, the appeal is dismissed while upholding the order dated 26.09.2017 which binds the parties to maintain the status-quo.
