Heard on application for suspension of sentence.

¶15

It is contended by counsel for the applicant that the sentence

¶16

imposed is seven years. Applicant has remained in custody for a period of six years. Disposal of appeal will take time.

Learned Public Prosecutor and counsel for the complainant

have opposed the application for suspension of sentence.

¶19

Taking into consideration the period already undergone by the applicant, I deem it proper to allow the third application for suspension of sentence.

Accordingly, the application for suspension of sentence is allowed. It is ordered that the sentence awarded to accusedapplicant in Sessions Case No.66/2013 (CIS NO.158/2014) shall

remain suspended if the applicant furnishes a personal bond of Rs.50,000/- and two sureties of Rs.25,000/- each to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court to the effect that he shall appear before Registrar (Judicial) on or before 14.12.2018 and as and when called upon to do so.

Copy of this order be sent to the concerned Court by Fax/Email today itself with a direction to serve a photostat copy of the same to the applicant and an additional copy of this order be also sent to the concerned Court by ordinary process.
