Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Perused the material available on record.

The petitioner claims regularisation of a piece of land in Nagaur. He filed an application for regularisation before the Commissioner, Municipal Council, Nagaur which was rejected by an order dated 19.09.2014. The petitioner challenged the said order by filing a revision before the State Government which was decided by order (Annexure-6) dated 17.02.2017 and the Municipal Council, Nagaur was directed to decide the petitioner’s regularisation application by a speaking order within a period of 60 days from the date of said order. The petitioner has raised a grievance in this writ petition that till date, his application for

regularisation has not been decided by the Municipal Council, Nagaur despite the direction given by the State Government.

In this background, it is hereby directed that in case, the Municipal Council, Nagaur has not decided the petitioner’s regularisation application til date, the same shall be considered objectively and decided by a reasoned order within a period of 60 days from the date of submission of copy of this order. In case, any adverse order is passed, the petitioner shall be at liberty to challenge the same as per law.

With these observations and directions, the instant writ petition as well as stay application are disposed of.
