The petitioners have filed the present writ petition, inter alia, for the following directions:-

“P R A Y E R

It is therefore, humbly and respectfully prayed that this writ petition may kindly accepted and by the Writ of Mandamus or any appropriate writ order or directions the respondents may be directed:-

(i) To admit the petitioners and other desirous persons of village Meora, Khanpura & Raiko Ki Dhani, Tehsil Degana, District Nagaur as members of respondent No. 7 Meora Gram Seva Sahakari Seva Samiti Ltd and allow to participate in day to day affairs and business of said Gram Seva Sahakari Samiti;

(ii) Hold the petitioners and other desirous persons and villagers are eligible to be appointed and admitted as members of respondent No. 7 Meora Gram Seva Sahakari Seva Samiti Ltd and entitled for all such benefits as provided under the law

and schemes made available by the

(iii) Any other appropriate order or relief which this Hon’ble Court may deem just and proper in the facts and circumstances of this case may also kindly be passed in favour of the humble petitioner.

(iv) Cost of litigation may also kindly be awarded to the humble petitioner.

Upon perusal of the material available on record and considering the submissions of the petitioners, who are presentin-person, this Court is of the considered view that no direction can be issued to the respondents to enroll the petitioners as Members of the Society, i.e., Respondent No. 7 – Meora Gram Seva Sahakari Seva Samiti Ltd.

The petitioners have already made a representation dated 13.04.2018 to the Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Nagaur as well as to the District Collector, Nagaur, followed by another representation dated 17.05.2018.

Without passing any order on the merits of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition, with a direction to the respondent No. 4 – Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Nagaur and Respondent No. 5 – Collector cum Administrator Nagaur, District Nagaur to consider

the petitioners’ representations, in accordance with law, within a period of 30 days from placing a certified copy of this order.

Needless to observe that the direction to decide the petitioners’ representations has been issued only with a view to ensure expeditious redressal of the petitioners’ grievance and the same may not be treated to be a direction to decide the petitioners’ representations, in a particular manner.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of, with the directions
