Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the State-respondents to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner in the backdrop of the guidelines issued by the respondents in the matter of spouse, while effecting transfer of an employee.

In view of the limited prayer made; the instant writ application is disposed off with a direction to the petitioner to address a comprehensive representation to the Staterespondents, within two weeks hereinafter.

It is further submitted that vacancies are also available at

the desired Station.

In case, a representation is so addressed, the Staterespondents are directed to decide the same by a detailed, reasoned and speaking order in the backdrop of the guidelines with reference to the spouse in the matter of transfer of an employee as expeditiously as possible. However, in no case later than within four weeks, from the date of receipt of representation, along with the certified copy of this order.

With the observations and directions as indicated above, the writ proceedings stand closed.
