By way of this petition, the convict petitioner has prayed that respondents be directed to release the petitioner on second parole for a period of 30 days under Rule 9 of the Rajasthan Prisoners Release on Parole Rules, 1958 and may pass any other order which this Court deems just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

From the perusal of writ petition and arguments advanced by counsel for the petitioner, it reveals that the petitioner has not

firstly approached the concerned Parole Committee and has directly filed this writ petition before this Court.

Therefore, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents that his writ petition may be treated as application for second regular parole and be considered and decided in the next meeting of the Parole committee in accordance with law.
