The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No. 326/2018 registered at Police Station Hindaun, District Karauli for the offences under Sections 363, 366 and 342 IPC.
In the present case, FIR has been lodged by Hemendra Kumar, respondent no.5 husband of petitioner no.1 Chetbai @ Priyanka.

C.I., Adhyatm Gautam, SHO, Police Station Hindaun has very fairly stated that the petitioner no.1 Chetbai @ Priyanka is major and she is aged about 28 years.
This Court on 18.5.2018 had directed the Dy. Registrar (Judicial) to record statement of petitioner no.1. The Dy. Registrar (Judicial) of this Court has recorded the statement of petitioner no.1 and the same is taken on record. For ready reference, the said statement is reproduced below:-

The petitioner No.1 Chetbai @ Priyanka is present in the court and she has been identified by C.I., Adhyatm Gautam, SHO, Police Station Hindaun.
Taking into account the statement made by the petitioner no.1, This Court is of the view that the continuation of

the proceedings arising out of the impugned FIR is nothing but abuse of process of law. The petitioner no.1 having attained the age of majority is free to reside at any place with any person.
Consequently, the present petition is accepted and the impugned FIR is quashed alongwith all its subsequent proceedings.
