The instant appeal has been filed under Section 14A (2) SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act on behalf of the appellant, apprehend her arrest in connection with FIR No.02/2018, Police Station Marwar Junction, Distt. Pali for the offences under Sections 498-A, 323, 328, 406, 120-B, 376 of IPC, and Sections 3(1)(R) (W1) of SC/ST ACt against the order dated 25.01.2018 passed by the learned Special Judge SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Cases, Pali, whereby, the bail application preferred under Section 438 Cr.P.C. on behalf of the appellant was rejected.
Counsel for the appellant submits that the appellant is a lady and she has been falsely implicated in this case. Therefore, no useful purpose will be served by sending the appellant behind the bars. Therefore, the benefit of bail should be extended to the appellant.
