The matter comes up for consideration of application (APPLW No.6456/17) preferred on behalf of the Excise Department with a prayer for dismissing this writ petition as having become infructuous on the ground that the dispute raised in the petition is regarding the liquor license for the year 2015-16 and the said liquor license has already been expired in the year 2016 itself.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is not in position to dispute the said fact that the liquor license in question has already been expired in the year 2016 itself.
In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
