Mr. Rajneesh Gupta, for the appellant. Mr. Krishnaveer Singh, for the respondent.
It was jointly submitted by the learned counsel for the parties
that Kumar Sonu for whose custody application under Section 6 of the Hindu Minority & Guardianship Act was filed by the appellant during the pendency of this appeal has become major and, therefore, appropriate order may be passed in the appeal.
In view of the statement made above and the fact that the person for whose custody the proceedings were initiated by the appellant has become major, no order for custody can be passed and this appeal has become infructuous.
Consequently, the appeal is dismissed as having become infructuous. The stay application is also dismissed.
