Bench in D.B. Civil Writ Petition No.11708/2013 titled as Shanu Goel Vs. State of Rajasthan, decided on 08.07.2013 wherein it has been held that till the process of selection in respect of an examination over, inspection of answer-sheets or providing photo-stat copies thereof was not permissible. Relying upon the aforesaid judgment, Mr. Kumawat has submitted that the prayer of the petitioners for supplying the photo-stat copies of the answer-sheets or being allowed the inspection thereof was in the face of the judgment of the Division Bench of this Court and was therefore rightly rejected. It has been submitted that as far as the prayer for reservation of two seats, one in general (woman) and other ST (woman) for the petitioners was both presumptive and without any foundation as the petitioners had failed the RAS (Main) Examination not being able to acquire the requisite minimum marks notified by RPSC in the exercise of its powers under Rule 15 of Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services (Direct Recruitment by Combined Competitive Examination) Rules, 1999. The petitioners not entitled to an interview call thus, cannot even remotely be expectant of an appointment consequent to which their prayer for keeping two posts vacant is wholly untenable.
