This is second bail application under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. The petitioner has been arrested in connection with FIR No. 291/2013, Police Station Sadar, District Sri Ganganagar for the offences under Sections 302, 450, 394 & 120-B of I.P.C.
Learned counsel for the State has pointed out that out of 21 witnesses, 20 have already been examined.
Thus, it would not be appropriate to enlarge the petitioner on bail at the fag end of the trial. In any case, the first bail application of the petitioner was dismissed on merit.
