Contempt of order dated 28-4-2014 passed by this court has been alleged in this petition, whereby the parties were directed to maintain status quo as obtained on 28-4-2014.
heard learned counsel for the parties. In my considered opinion, an order of status quo would operate only to restrain transfer, alienation or otherwise conveyance of property in dispute and not construction thereon. In the context of aforesaid, I find no force in the contempt petition.
The contempt petition is dismissed. Notices are discharged.
