Teacher Grade-III, in response to the advertisement published by the respondents in June 1998. It is pleaded case of the petitioner that the merit list drawn by the respondents, granting weightage of bonus marks on the basis of district to which candidate belonged and rural area, was challenged before this Court and it has been held to be illegal, in view of the verdict of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Kailash Chandra Sharma State of Rajasthan and Ors.: (2002) 6 SCC 562. The petitioner has also placed on record a copy of the notice for demand of justice allegedly addressed to the State-respondents, which evoked no response.
