The petitioner, in the instant writ application, has assailed the legality and validity of the order dated 19th September, 2008, by which a chargesheet was served on him. Another order placing him under suspension of even date, has also been assailed.
Since the learned counsel for the petitioner is no more. This Court on 24th February, 2014 issued the notice to the petitioner, to ensure his representation in the facts stated above.
It has been reported by the process server that the petitioner was not available at the given address, as informed by the landlord, where he used to live as a tenant.
Mr. Ram Kumar Sharma appearing on behalf of respondent No.2 gives out that without prejudice to the departmental enquiry initiated vide memorandum notice dated 19th September, 2008, the petitioner was reinstated and posted at Head

Quarter at Jaipur, till further orders vide order dated 13th August, 2009. It appears that in view of the subsequent development, the petitioner has lost interest in the instant writ proceedings. The order dated 13th August, 2009 is taken on record.
In view of the above, the instant writ proceedings are hereby closed. However, it will be open for the petitioner to make the appropriate application for revival of the proceedings if something substantial survives in the writ application.
The writ application is, accordingly, closed.
