It is submitted by the learned counsel Mr. Rajneesh Gupta for the petitioners that the petitioners though belonged to the category of Schedule Tribe they have been shown in the category of OBC, in the final seniority list for the post of Teacher Grade-II. According to him, the petitioners had raised the objections against the provisional seniority list and the respondent No.4-the DEO had also vide the letter dated 01.12.2014 recommended to make necessary corrections in the final seniority list to the respondent No.3-The Deputy Director, Secondary Education, however the said recommendations have not considered as a result of which, the persons junior to the petitioenrs have been shown senior to them.
Considering the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel Mr. Gupta for the petitioners, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, it is directed that the respondent No.3 or the concerned competent authority shall take appropriate decisions on the letter dated 01.12.2014 (Annexure/ 6) of the respondent No.4 as expeditiously as possible and preferably within two months from the date of receipt of this order.
With the above directions, the petition stands disposed of. By this order, the stay application also stands disposed of.
