This criminal writ petition has been filed to seek police protection. It is apprehended in view of FIR lodged by the complainant for offence under Sections 363 & 366 IPC.
Learned counsel submits that the petitioners have married with each other and living peacefully, thus they may be given police protection to ensure safety to their lives.
I have considered the submission made by learned counsel for petitioners.
The criminal writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Police to give protection to the petitioners if they have married with each other at the marriageable age and it was with the willingness of the girl. For the aforesaid, they would be at liberty to record the statements of the girl but without harassment. If she shows her willingness then not to harass rather protection be provided to the petitioners.
It disposes of the stay application also.
