The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No.175/ 2012, dated 18.10.2012, registered at Police Station Mahila Thana, Ajmer for the offence punishable under Section 498A IPC.
Shri Rameshwar Prasad, Investigating Officer, S.I., Mahila Thana, Ajmer, present in the Court, has submitted that the investigating agency came to a conclusion that the petitioner committed an offence under Section 498A IPC and charge-sheet was submitted on 22.04.2013 in the Court Judicial Magistrate No.2, Ajmer. It is further submitted that now case is pending for consideration of the charge.
After hearing the Investigating Officer, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to assail the charge-sheet by filing a fresh petition. The petitioner, if so advised, may submit the arguments of his favour before the trial Court at the time of consideration of the charge.
