The only prayer made on behalf of the petitioners is that a direction may be issued to the learned executing court that the execution proceedings may be decided at the earliest as the decree in the suit was passed in the year 1985 and the execution has been pending before the learned executing court since the year 1988-89. The decree is one for possession.
In the facts and circumstances, it is directed the learned executing court with the cooperation of the learned counsel for the parties as well as the parties would take steps to decide the execution application at the earliest without undue delay.
Consequently, the writ petition as well as the application No.27772 dated 11.08.2008 stand disposed of.
