The writ petition has been filed with the prayer that the respondent-State functionaries be directed to demarcate the land of Khasra Nos.40 to 48, 54, 55 and 499 in accordance with law and put the permanent marks thereabout with reference to those indicated in the map prepared by the settlement officer. Such a prayer cannot be directly entertained by this court in a writ of mandamus. It would however be open to the petitioner to approach the District Collector Jhunjhunu who shall consider and decide the same upon hearing all concerned including the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a period of two months from today.
The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observation.
