S.B. CIVIL WRIT PETITION NO.1158/2005 (Devendra Singh Vs. State & Ors.)

By way of filing the present writ petition, the petitioner is challenging the impugned order dated 25.11.2004 and prayed that the said order may kindly be modified to the extent of making installments of due tax at the rate of Rs.10,000/- quarterly.
I see no reason to interfere with the order impugned as the petitioner is not refuting the demand raised against him. The petitioner is only praying for making installment of due tax at the rate of Rs.10,000/- quarterly. The said prayer cannot be accepted because the department has already passed an order for depositing amount in four installments as mentioned in the order impugned Annexure-1. However,

if any grievance is left with the petitioner for depositing the said amount in easy installments, then, he is required to approach the authorities concerned by way of filing representation.
The petition is dismissed.
