The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 (erstwhile 438 Cr.P.C.) for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.29 dated 09.03.2026 under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 190, 191 (2), 191(3) and 333 and 118(3) (added lateron) of the BNS, 2023 registered at Police Station Jakhal District Fatehabad with a further prayer to stay the arrest of the petitioner in the meantime during the pendency of the present petition or to exempt the petitioner from filing the certified and true typed copies of annexures.

This Court, vide order dated 21.04.2026, had directed the petitioner to appear before the SHO/Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of their arrest, they were ordered to be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.).

Thereafter, vide order dated 15.05.2026 and 29.05.2026, petitioner was again directed to join the investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order of this Court, the petitioner has joined and cooperated with the investigation.

Learned State counsel states on instructions from ASI Sharvan Kumar, the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the petition is allowed and the interim order dated 21.04.2026 is made absolute . The petitioner shall continue to join investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
