Learned counsel for the pet i tioner submits that contempt proceedi n gs be initiated against the respondents for not complying the order dat e d 29.11.2025(Annexure P-2) p a ssed by a co-ordinate Bench of this C ourt in CRM-M-66992-2025 t itled as “Sonu vs. State of Punjab a n d others”, whereby the petit i on was disposed of with a direction “…to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the represen t ation (annexure P-10) of the p etitioner expeditiously and within a time bound manner, by pa s sing a speaking order in accordance with law.”

Learned counsel for the r e spondent-State submits that necessar y compliance has been made wh i le passing a Speaking Order dated 31.12.2025; thus, no cause survive s in the present petition.
