Present contempt petition has b een filed alleging violation of order dat e d 13.5.2025 (Annexure P-1) pas s ed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Cour t in CWP-18268-2024 titled as “ N asir Hussain and another vs. State of H aryana and others”, whereby the petition was disposed of with the follo w ing observations/directions :-

“….At this stage, with o ut commenting anything upon merits of the instant c a se, this court deems it apt to pass a mandamus up o n respondent No.6, through respondent No.3 & 4, t o forthwith take cognizance of the complaints/represe n tations filed by the petitioners, and in case the Chou p al in question, requires any renovation, the same sh a ll be completed in accordance with law. The entire e xercise shall be carried out within three months fro m receiving a certified copy of this order….” Learned counsel for the State refers to para 1 of the Reply dated 07. 1 .2026 filed by way of affidavit o f Upma Arora, DDPO, Palwal,

It is pertinent to m ention here that the answering respondent along wit h other respondents promptly take the cognizance of the matter in dispute and carried out the renova t ion work in the said Chaupal and as per the rep o rt submitted by the Gram Panchayat Uttawar b e fore the BDPO Hathin, the BDPO Hathin intimat e d the answering respondent vide letter dated 05.01. 2 026 bearing no. 5110 that the repair work of levelin g the roof, repair work of the floor, white wash in t h e bathroom and tile etc. have already been complete d in pursuance of the order of this Hon'ble Court.....”

Learned counsel for the State submits that since the complian c e of the Writ Court order dated 13.5.2025 (Annexure P-1) has been mad e ; thus, no cause survives in the pr e sent petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the Writ Court ord e r dated 13.5.2025 (Annexure P-1) has been complied with by the responde n t-authority, nothing survives in th e present contempt petition and the same m ay be disposed of.
