The present Contempt Pet i tion has been filed alleging violation o f the order dated 06.11.2023 (Annexure P-1) passed by a co-ordinat e Bench of this Court in RSA-3006-2023, titled as ‘Taranjit Singh and others vs. Jaspreet Singh and another’ whereby it had been directed that status quo regarding alienati o n of the suit property shall be maintaine d .

It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite granting of status qu o by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 06.11.202 3 (Annexure P-1), the responde n t(s) have sold the property and Mutation N os. 5023 and 5024 were sa n ction in favour of subsequent purchasers.

Learned counsel for the resp o ndent-State has informed this Court tha t Mutation Nos. 5023 and 5024 sanctioned in favour of subsequen t purchasers have been withdra w n and disapproved vide Rapat No. 179 d a ted 08.01.2026. A copy of Ja m abandi for the year 2020-2021 reflecting t he said disapproval handed ove r in Court is taken on record.
