Counsel sought only a direction that the respondents take a decision on the said legal notice by passing a speaking order; Mr. Rajesh Sehgal, Addl. AG, Punjab accepted notice and raised no objection. The grievance of the pe��oner is that he has re�red from services of respondent No.4 on 31.07.2024 and despite fulfilling all the necessary formali�es and submi,ng the requisite documents qua the re�ral benefits including pension, provident fund, gratuity and leave encashment etc., nothing has been paid to him �ll date, causing devasta�ng impact upon him and his family. Pe��oner also made a legal no�ce dated 12.10.2024 (Annexure P.2) upon the respondents but no ac�on has been taken so far upon the legal no�ce.

Learned counsel also submits that the pe��oner will be sa�sfied in case the respondents are directed to take a decision on the legal no�ce dated 12.10.2024 (Annexure P.2) by passing a speaking order.
