The present application has been filed with a prayer to dispose of the main case in terms of the judgment rendered in LPA No. 1102 of 2024 decided on 22.04.2025.

In view of the above, the application is allowed and the main case is taken up on board today itself.

Challenge in the present writ petition is to the order dated 02.06.2023 by which claim of the petitioner for grant of minimum scale prescribed for the posts has been rejected and a further prayer to grant the minimum scale prescribed for the posts alongwith Dearness Allowance to the petitioners.

Counsel for the petitioners has moved an application bearing CM-9240-CWP-2025 to dispose of the present writ petition in terms of the judgment passed by this Court in LPA-1102-2024 titled as “Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal versus Ranjit Singh” decided on 22.04.2025.

The present writ petition is accordingly disposed of with the consent of the parties and without commenting anything on the merits of the case with a direction to the respondents to treat this writ petition as a representation and to take a considerate decision in light of the judgment dated 22.04.2025 passed in LPA-1102-2024 titled as “Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal versus Ranjit Singh”, within a period of three months of the receipt of certified copy of this order.
