Prayer in the present petition is for directing the respondents to grant the benefit of job security till the date of superannuation to the petitioners, under the Haryana Contractual Employees (Security of Service) Act, 2024 and the Haryana Contractual Employees (Security of Service) Amendment Ordinance, 2025 as extended to the similarly situated employees in the State of Haryana.

After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that with regard to their grievances, the petitioners have already served a legal notice dated 01.04.2025 (Annexure P-11) but the respondents have not taken any action thereupon till date. He contends that the petitioners would be satisfied at this stage, in case respondent No.1- Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Haryana, Human Resources Department, Main Civil Secretariat Haryana, Chandigarh is directed to consider and decide the legal notice dated 01.04.2025 (Annexure P-11) submitted by the petitioners, by passing a speaking order in a time bound manner.
