Through the instant petition, c ast under Articles 226/227 of t he Constitutio n of India, a prayer is made for issuance of a mandamus, direct i ng the respondents No.2 to 4, to perform thei r imperative corresponding dut y to register an FIR, and investigate the co m plaints against the respondents No.5 to 7, i n pursuance to enquiry reports/ r ecommendations dated 12.02.2 0 21 and 01.07. 2 021 (Annexures P-2 and P- 3 ), submitted by a Senior Police Officer, i.e. DSP, Yamuna Nagar-3 (respon d ent No.4).

Learned counsel for the State, informs this Court, that the pra y er made in th e instant petition has already be e n rendered infructuous, as the F IR has already been registered, and even afte r conclusion of the investigatio n , a cancellatio n report stands presented on da t ed 18.02.2023, before the lear n ed Illaqa Magi s trate concerned.
