The instant writ petition has been filed for seeking issuance of directions to the respondents to release the pending bills issued by the PGIMER, Chandigarh.

Learned State counsel informs that all amounts other than a sum of Rs.8,304/- already stand released and administrative sanction for the said amount has also been granted.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner contends that keeping in view the precarious circumstances, the respondent State be directed to also expeditiously process the further bills that may be submitted by the petitioner.

At this stage, I do not find sufficient reason to issue any such pre-emptory directions, although it would be expected of the respondent State that as and when, the bills are submitted by the petitioner, the same are processed expeditiously and admissible benefits are released to the employee. No specific order in this regard is required to be passed pre-empting any delay.
